Welcome to our adoptions page! Here you'll find birds currently seeking loving, permanent homes. Each adoption includes a thorough application process to ensure the best match for both the bird and their future family. Adoption fees are listed on each application and help cover the cost of care while the bird is here with us and are non-negotiable. Birds are grouped into three categories: a green tree (Mochi's Treehouse adoption), a red parrot (Seattle Parrot Rescue foster), and a house icon (Private Rehoming Assistance Program)*. Each Apply button will take you to the correct form.
* Birds in the rehoming program remain with their current families, and adoptions are arranged directly with them.
Schooner is a 27-year-old Double-yellow Amazon with a whole lot of personality. He’s quite the talker and loves to chatter throughout the day, making him a lively presence wherever he goes. Rescued from a home where his owner had passed away, Schooner is now looking for a new perch to call home - and a new audience to entertain with his antics!
Edward is a lovebird with a shy nature, but with time and a gentle approach, he has the potential to bond with the right bird-savvy person. He came to us as part of a large rescue after his previous owner passed away, so his background is mostly unknown, but we estimate him to be around 5 years old. He has a scissor beak, which will require regular grooming to keep him comfortable and healthy.
Henry is a 10-year-old Green-cheek Conure with a big personality and a love for soft, fluffy things. He enjoys head scratches on his terms, will sometimes step up, and may even fly to you once he trusts you. He can be vocal when bored or seeking attention, and his favorite toy is anything with a bell. With patience, he could build a strong bond in the right home.
Gabriel is a 9-year-old Pineapple Conure who loves being involved in daily life and staying close to his person. He prefers quieter environments, and loud or squeaky noises upset him. He enjoys spending time on shoulders or at your feet, playing on the ground, knocking over water bottles, and exploring shoes. Gabriel loves sink baths with running water, apples and banana chips, and will sometimes settle in for a cuddle before bedtime.
This trio of gentle Ringneck Doves is looking for a loving home. The group includes a 4-year-old female and her two offspring. They are easy to care for and would make a wonderful addition to a calm and nurturing environment. These doves are ready to bring their peaceful presence to a new forever home.
Mandy is a sweet, social little bird who loves spending time with people and being out of her cage. She’s been great with kids and enjoys cuddling, exploring, and being part of the family routine. Addie has a big personality and even bigger energy. He’s always on the move, curious, and full of opinions about how things should be; especially which items deserve to be destroyed next. While he tends to prefer women, he’ll tolerate anyone who respects his boundaries. Addie isn’t a screamer, but he’s vocal with his flock calls and likes to stick to a routine: early to bed, early to rise. He’ll thrive in an active, bird-experienced home that can match his energy and appreciate his quirks.
Jasper is a male Quaker estimated to be over 20 years old. He was adopted from another owner earlier in life and is described as very friendly. Jasper has experienced the loss of a bonded mate and would benefit from a calm, attentive home that understands older parrots and their social needs. Apollo is a 5-year-old Green Cheek Conure who is looking for a new home as his owner heads off to college. He tends to bond closely with one person and may take some time to warm up, but with patience he can form a strong connection. Apollo can be a bit loud and mildly bitey while building trust. Harper is a friendly, interactive bird who enjoys spending time with the people around her. She’s used to free flight in the home, knows “step up,” and enjoys snuggling. Harper is expressive and will vocalize when she’s looking for attention. She’ll do best in a home that understands conure behavior and can give her regular interaction. Bennie is a 42-year-old Yellow Naped Amazon, presumed female, with a large vocabulary and clear speaking voice. She can wave “bye bye,” enjoys foot rubs, and likes interactive time with her person. Coconut, Marshmallow, Peas, and Bluebee are a mixed group of young budgies, presumed to be around 3 years old. They will eat from hands but are still somewhat hesitant with people. Chester is a presumed male cockatiel, estimated to be around 10 years old. He is a cautious and observant bird who takes time to warm up to new people. Chester is not hand-trained and would do best with patient adopters who understand that trust is built gradually. He would thrive in a calm home willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Melody is a friendly and affectionate conure who enjoys being close to her people. She loves being pet and massaged and will excitedly ring her bell when family members come home. Kiwi is a sweet and sassy Quaker that enjoys spending time with people. She gets along well with multiple people, however she does not do well with other birds and would likely do best as the only bird in a home. She is healthy with excellent plumage, but requires a diet free of almonds, sunflower seeds, and other nuts due to food allergies. Cage not included, but available for purchase.
