Welcome to our adoptions page! Here you'll find birds currently seeking loving, permanent homes. Each adoption includes a thorough application process to ensure the best match for both the bird and their future family. Adoption fees are listed on each application and help cover the cost of care while the bird is here with us and are non-negotiable. Please read the adoption process page to learn more about what to expect before applying. Thank you for choosing to adopt and support our rescue efforts!
Birds are grouped into three categories: a green tree (Mochi's Treehouse adoption), a red parrot (Seattle Parrot Rescue foster), and a house icon (Private Rehoming Assistance Program)*. Each Apply button will take you to the correct form.
* Birds in the rehoming program remain with their current families, and adoptions are arranged directly with them.
Sushi is a 8-year-old Pineapple Conure with an independent streak and a curious nature. Rescued from being abandoned in a parking lot, he has since come out of his shell and enjoys hanging out near people - though he may not always want hands-on interaction. Sushi loves playing with bottle caps and would do best in a patient home that lets him set the pace.
Charlie is a 26-year-old Blue and Gold Macaw with a gentle and sweet nature. A big talker, he loves attention and enjoys chewing on his wooden blocks. Healthy and well-socialized, Charlie has been kind to everyone he’s met. He’s looking for someone with plenty of experience in macaw care who can provide him with the time, attention, and understanding he deserves.
Yoshi is a 6-year-old Half-Moon Conure looking for a home where he can be the center of attention. He’d thrive as a single bird with plenty of out-of-cage time but can co-exist with similar-sized birds. He's occasionally a bit anxious, but is affectionate, eager to bond, and loves giving kisses and calling you a “good bird.” He’s a strong flyer who would enjoy having the space to stretch his wings.
Bert and Ernie are a bonded pair of 1-year-old lovebirds seeking a patient and understanding home. They are energetic, vocal, and enjoy each other’s company. While they currently prefer seeds over fresh fruits and veggies, they may adjust with time and persistence. These young lovebirds would thrive with an adopter who appreciates their lively nature and is ready to help them build trust.
Schooner is a 27-year-old Double-yellow Amazon with a whole lot of personality. He’s quite the talker and loves to chatter throughout the day, making him a lively presence wherever he goes. Rescued from a home where his owner had passed away, Schooner is now looking for a new perch to call home - and a new audience to entertain with his antics!
Hannah is a Mitred Conure, approximately 20 years old, with a quirky personality and a love for routine. She’s hand-shy at first but warms up with time and familiarity. Hannah enjoys cozy hideaways (her favorite is under the kitchen sink) and has a small yellow bottle she treats like a companion. She’s looking for a bird-savvy home that will embrace her unique habits.
Edward is a lovebird with a shy nature, but with time and a gentle approach, he has the potential to bond with the right bird-savvy person. He came to us as part of a large rescue after his previous owner passed away, so his background is mostly unknown, but we estimate him to be around 5 years old. He has a scissor beak, which will require regular grooming to keep him comfortable and healthy.
Henry is a 10-year-old Green-cheek Conure with a big personality and a love for soft, fluffy things. He enjoys head scratches on his terms, will sometimes step up, and may even fly to you once he trusts you. He can be vocal when bored or seeking attention, and his favorite toy is anything with a bell. With patience, he could build a strong bond in the right home.
Daisy is a 4-year-old blue pallid Quaker parrot who shows a strong preference for men, while being standoffish with women. She enjoys being around her favorite people and even knows the “bacon pancakes” song, which she’ll happily share. This trio of gentle Ringneck Doves is looking for a loving home. The group includes a 4-year-old female and her two offspring. They are easy to care for and would make a wonderful addition to a calm and nurturing environment. These doves are ready to bring their peaceful presence to a new forever home.
Addie has a big personality and even bigger energy. He’s always on the move, curious, and full of opinions about how things should be; especially which items deserve to be destroyed next. While he tends to prefer women, he’ll tolerate anyone who respects his boundaries. Addie isn’t a screamer, but he’s vocal with his flock calls and likes to stick to a routine: early to bed, early to rise. He’ll thrive in an active, bird-experienced home that can match his energy and appreciate his quirks.
Alex is a 1-year-old Alexandrine Parrot who is full of charm. He enjoys car rides, being part of family life, and says a variety of words and phrases. Raised around kids, dogs, cats, and other birds, he does best with plenty of companionship. Alex loves fruits and veggies, especially corn and apples. Click apply to get in touch with his current family.
Angus is a 5-year-old male zebra finch looking for a new home after losing his cage mate. He’s active, chatty, and always on the move, often chirping away and watching what’s going on around him. Jake is a 15-year-old cockatiel with a bold, playful personality. He likes to wolf whistle, mimic sounds, and dance. He has an old wing injury and cannot fly, so he’ll need a safe setup he can navigate at lower heights. Jake has spent most of his life in a cage and will do best with someone who can offer patience, consistency, and more space to move around. Click apply to get in touch with his current family.
